DONNELLY RIVER WEEKEND April 18 (expired event)

To take part in the Donnelly River Weekend you will need to book a cabin for a 3 night stay at the Donnelly River Village.

Check-in:  Thursday, April 18 at 2pm

Check-out: Sunday, April 21.

There are no TVs, phones or internet in the cottages and the village is out of mobile phone range. If someone wants to contact you they can leave a message at the store, see above link.

This historic mill town, nestled amongst the karri trees, was built in the 50’s for the Bunnings Brothers.  It is located on the edge of the Donnelly River and has a deep swimming lake in the forest.

Activities:     Bushwalks; swimming in the lake surrounded by Karris; communing with friendly fauna such as possums, kangaroos, emus and parrots; sundowners by a campfire; tennis, basketball, beach volley ball and a 50m flying fox. It also has a games room with darts, pool table and table tennis.
